Denim

Katara entered the thrown room while talking amuzed to her oldest doughter Kira.Zuko looked up to see his Firelady and his daughter.
'Are you sure you didn't want that jeans too honey?'Katara asked her.
'Mom,I'm fine.Really.'Kira laughed amused.
They both dragged along two big bags .Obviously filled with a lot of clothes and accesoires.Zuko sighed:knowing his wife,she'd show off every single pair of jeans and every single dress she had bought.
Katara looked up at Zuko while cheerfully saying 'Hi honey!'
'Hi dad.' Kira added.
She obviously preferred to go over to her boyfriend now or to go gossiping with some friends instead.
'Went shopping again?'Zuko asked right before Katara ran up to him and kissed him.
'I needed a new dress for Moreno's birthday.' she said.
'I needed one too!' Kira shouted while she was on her way out.'I'm going to see Kai now!Bye!'
Before anyone could protest she already was outside.Katara and Zuko looked at each other.
'I'll call Mai.'Katara said.'She should be prepared if Kira comes over there to see her son...again.'
'Just let them.' Zuko said,smiling.'They are young and in love.'
Katara looked at him as if she questioned his sanity.
'Are you feeling okay? I think you've drunk too much of Iroh's tea again.' she said while she had the phone in her hands and dailed Mai's number.

Zuko went over to his wife and grabbed her waist.'They remind me of us when we were first together.'
Katara sighed.'Okay,I'll admit we were together a lot too but we didn't bother our parents with it.'
Zuko had a hurt expression on his face.Katara knew he was happy they killed Ozai but at some way he still felt guilty for helping aang to kill his father.'I'm sorry.'she said.'No,don't be.I'll have to get over it sometime...'
Katara hugged Zuko while he wrapped his strong arms around her too.'We still have to arrange a lot for Moreno's 14th birthday party.'
'Yeah,I still have to help you choose your dress and we have to call Toph and Aang to see if they'll be back from their honeymoon soon enough to come.Loads of work.' he said,smiling.Katara looked at him slightly offended. 'First:I bought something for you too and second:We also have to call Suki and Sokka to ask wether Siana can make it to the party or not.'
'Siana already said she'd make it to the party.'zuko told her.
'When?'
'She called earlier saying:'No way I'm missing that party!'.'
Katara smiled.'Do you think she heard that there are going to be ninja's?'
'I think she did.Or she heard Tiron would be coming too.'
Katara looked up at him with a confused look.'As in Toph and Aang their son?'
Zuko nodded.
'I didn't know they were finally dating.'she muttered.
'They aren't.But they both asked wether the other would be at the party too.'
Normally seen Zuko was the one who didn't know anything about who's together with who.So this sure was an interesting switch for him.

'Now,come.'Katara said,leading Zuko towards their bedroom.She grabbed her bags and gave a pair of jeans,a dark black T-shirt and a jacket to Zuko.'I'm going to change in Kira's bedroom.Meet me in the living room!' she said,smiling when she left the bedroom.Zuko picked up the clothes she had given to him.
The jeans and jacked both appeared to be from the same brand.Zuko sighed.'She sure is a denim girl.'
When he was ready he entered the living room.He hadded grabbed a book before going there because he knew she'd need more time to get ready then him.After a while she entered the living room too.'What do you think?' zuko heard his wife asking.He looked up at her.She was wearing a long,dark red dress with black spaghetti-wraps.She had golden earrings and bracelets on and the engagement neclace had given her a long time ago.The last thing he noticed was that she also had a denim jacket on.The same one as she had given him and wich he was wearing now.He noticed too late he was staring at her.She smiled and sat down on his lap.'I asked you something.' she reminded him while she looked him straight in the eyes.'You look amazing.' he said.'You don't look that bad either denim boy.' She said smiling.
'Remind me to go shopping with you  more often' Zuko said.'You shouldn't have said that.' she responded while she leaned in to kiss him.
